This week I started a new job and was given a Dell Optiplex755 as a desktop. It was pre-installed with Windoze XP, but I was encouraged to install Linux on a second hard drive. Naturally I installed BLAG (in this case 90001). The desktop's graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro, which doesn't seem to be particularly well-liked by BLAG (or, more accurately, the kernel-libre that comes with BLAG). I can install to the hard drive via Anaconda, but firstboot hangs up immediately after I create a new user.
Here's my question: is this (i.e. - using this video card with a free OS) a non-starter?

Edit your xorg.conf and change your video driver to vesa. Once you get X going, play around with the numerous ATI open source drivers in the repo. There are quite a few, and not all will necessarily work with your card.
Thanks,
