Sorry for the recent increase in questions you can still tell I'm getting the hang of BLAG and Unix-based operating systems. Any-who when I go to, System -> Preferences -> Look & Feel -> Desktop Effects, the window pops up but I can choose any of the options any clue of to why ?
P.S: The other thing I want to know is how to install secondlife...

Asking questions is fine, it's all a learning experience. As for Desktop Effects, what graphics card/chipset are you using?
