The good, old BLAG bookmarks import fine into my IceCat using the bookmarks.html file from the 70k blag-bookmarks rpm (it's in the repo for 90k on the fsf server).

Built a blag-bookmarks rpm for 119k just for the hell of it. Bookmarks need updating, so might as well learn how:) Just installing it doesn't do anything, but I guess it will if it's part of a default system install.

I've them on blag website so can put them on blag.fsf server.
Do you see it uses the mozilla plugins without making symlinks?

Yep, I tested with a fresh install of IceCat 3.6.8-1blag (also removing the .gnuzilla folder from my home dir), and all the plugins just worked. Makes it all so much easier:)

As this is about youtube I thought I add it to the icecat thread.

Minitube.

I used this to build it

http://magnu5.fedorapeople.org/review/m ... 13.src.rpm
I found the dependencies in the spec sheet
http://magnu5.fedorapeople.org/review/m ... itube.spec

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=620882

I had to run
qmake-qt4 not just qmake

Hope it helps

Had heard of minitube, but didn't try it before you mentioned it on irc. Cool little app (at least if you have a reasonably speedy net connection), thanks for the tip:)

I found a spec file at http://maxamillion.fedorapeople.org/minitube.spec that I could use with a few, small mods. Built rpms for both x86 and x86_64. Can upload somewhere if somebody wants 'em.

My builds seem to run fine, except it often gets very choppy when I try to change video. Suspect that this problem is with minitube itself, as I don't think it does any buffering of videos.

I noticed the spec sheets were quite different, and was wondering if that was why you had poor play back. Anyway if you could put the rpm's on riseup I'd like to compare them. cheers

Would would have a look at the bookmarks file I up loaded see what you think. If it's unnecessarily large, needs more links refining or trashed etc

Great work on the bookmarks! I'm using them already, and will see if I find something that could be added/changed. It'd be nice if all you blaggers out there could do the same:) I can make an rpm of them eventually.

I've put them up for testing: https://we.riseup.net/blag/minitube-tes ... 119k+61692

Cheers to you too!

Re: The blag-bookmark file for icecat.

If Blaggers could go through your favourite book marks and add them to the riseup Blagbookmarks file. That would be great.

Download the Blag book mark file. Import it into icecat add your favorites in a <YOURNAME> directory, and export it out. Then up load it to riseup with a new date. This way it'is easy for everyone can easily see what has been added by who and which to sections.

I'd put them in to the correct categorizes (or blaggers could suggest/create new ones if it's not obvious) this will make it easy for everyone else to avoid duplication.

I would suggest when everyone has added theirs we have a review as to layout, sections, keep, delete, move and missing etc
