Any chance of Amaya being added to the repositories. It is the open source editor avilable from W3. With the expansion of people writing web standard pages, I think it is important we get something that writes proper XHTML. OpenOffice 2 can export as XHTML strict but I think we need a decent pure editor.

Jason, Have you seen it in any of the other repos like Dag & such? If so, I can pop it in easily. Sry I'm not doing that research myself right now, but i'm kinda travelling...
If you pop it in bugzilla, I'll be sure to check it out when I get back. Add some URLs too.
Thanks & good to hear from you :)

Hi Jeff,
I hope you are doing well and had a nice xmas/new year. Nice to see you having fun :)
The URL is http://www.w3.org/Amaya/ and it is a package well worth having just because it conforms to standards. I am anal with web standards now just because I can't stand the way certain browsers *cough*IE*cough* screw up CSS. I don't even use that POS yet people I code pages for do argh...
Stevo, thank you so much mate. I will roll it out big time today and let everyone know :)
Cheers.

No prob, I know what you mean, I'm anal about web standards too. My website uses CSS2 and I've just given up even bother to try to get it to work in IE...

Well screw IE. People will covert when they see no sites rendering. I am sick to death of using little hacks to get divs working properly. I heard M$ will address this issue in the next version of IE but yeah I won't hold my breath.
