Indeed, let's make 160k! If you are a blagger, hacker, coder, builder, tester, designer, activist or wikilover - or would like to be: it's better to do a little than nothing.

I'm a Fedora italian translator, blogger, blag user.
I could also build some simple packages.

Sorry. You do not have the ability to perform that action. |

You can try these ISOs: ftp://blag.fsf.org/160000/en/iso/
It works with fedora repos but give an idea of what will be the next blag release if there is one. Desktop by default will be xfce.
You may blaggify it by installing blag icons theme from there: http://www.zenblagger.org/blaggers/really-little-guys.tar.gz
Put the decompressed file in /home/yourusername/.icons
PS: You'll see claws is the mail client installed but blag default mail is sylpheed since 140k; it'll be the same for 160k.

Just tried out BLAG 160K alpha, and I really like it. I also tried downloading the icons but nothing seemed to change. I gunzipped and untarred the above file and then moved the resulting directory to ~/.icons. When logging out and logging out didn't change the theme, I tried rebooting, but no joy. Am I leaving out a step?

You'll have to go to parameters (I think, It's paramčtres on my French version)--> appearance (Apparence on French one) and then chose the icons theme.

Hi.
Yesterday i have downloaded an Alpha Blag 160K.
Trying to virtualize it in VirtualBox-OSE (on Fedora 16), i obtain this error:
In the same way, also using a live USB version.

I installed both x86 and x86_64 with an USB stick on two different boxes without any problem. And a x86_64 version with CDs on a third box.
I'm at work and with proxies can't see your image. Will look at it later.
PS: I built my USB stick with unetbootin.

Don't know but read that some guys had problems like that. If you're running blag or fedora you may install unetbootin from the repos.
I have to finish my 160k alpha installation on my toshi san.

I've just tried with Unetbootin.
At boot appear the Unetbootin list with the choice 'Default'. If i choose it:
Invalid or corrupt kernel image.
| Code: | | >ubnkern initrd=/ubninit |
