I think you must have rpmfusion-free repo activated; but never remember what package needs to be installed. So every time I search.

OK. I'll try it soon.

If you've installed all the things I said to install, it should work.

no! if you run 32bits OS, you have to install 32bits packages.
Do you have run:
| Code: | | #yum install gstreamer-ffmpeg gstreamer-plugins-bad gstreamer-plugins-ugly |
|

In the end (as I imagined I shouldn't use 64bits repositories) I issued
[coco@iliberty ~]$ su -c 'yum -y install gstreamer-plugins-bad gstreamer-plugins-bad-free-extras gstreamer-plugins-bad-nonfree gstreamer-plugins-ugly gstreamer-ffmpeg ffmpeg mencoder mplayer'
as recommended in
http://ask.fedoraproject.org/question/1145/what-plugins-required-in-fedora-16-to-play-mp3
and it seems it goes working...
I'll tell You more if further issues appear...
And I take note of the last line You sent...
cU

You don't need non-free rpmfusion repo!
