The most "definitive" source for Linux software is http://freshmeat.net
It's a good place to track down programs you might be interested in.
I only get a few hits for karaoke there, but there are a few programs. Take a look at them and see if any of them match what you're looking for. If so, let me know and I'll see if someone has packaged it or I'll see if I can make a package.

Dag et al. haven't pacakged it, but there was a src.rpm on their site. I tried to build it but it was looking for a header file I don't have (and I believe I have /all/ of them from FC1).
Soooo, I'm not quite sure. It hasn't had an update in a year & a half. Perhaps if they do a little update...
There's quite a bit on the 'net about linux & karaoke so there may be a solution. I cruised google for a bit--midi is a keyword wrt karaoke... I didn't find an answer. But if you do dig something up, I'll take another crack at it.

Thanks for the help I found one, needed other packages to get it installed (Gkaraoke). I thought being Gnome it would work out well for me.. I don,t use KDE :? Just a simple program would be great!
